God's Sword of Truth - The Word

Whose Child Are You?

By The Holy Spirit's Disciple, Raymond Laginess

The greatest mistake people make, even Christians, is concerning who they are and where they came from.  Many Christians worry about loved ones...if they are saved or not, if they are going to Heaven or not, or will they get to Heaven in the end.  What I am about to write is what we are in God and Christ, what His plan is, and who we are in the plan.

Each creature was created by God through Adam and Eve.  Each seed planted by man through woman is a seed created by God.  The blessing from that seed is from God.  Each seed is given life and covered (parents) by the grace of God.  We don't own our children.  They are not really ours.  We are only the flesh cover for them under God's plan of creation. As parents, we are stewards by the grace of God.

If you raise your blessing (your children) by God's Word, then they shall be a blessing to you.  Each person alive honors his or her parents, and through them he is guided by God.  You have to remember that no matter what you do or say, you can't save any of them.  You are blessed by what you do by yourself while in this life, in regards to God's Word and how you live it.  There are blessings to you.  You raise your children and guide them by God's Law and Word until they are old enough to make up their own minds, to choose how they will live.  What happens to them after the Age of Reason or the Age of Accountability (this age is known only by God as He knows their heart), is up to them.  They have to use their free will.  You just love them and continue to guide them by the Word.  You rebuke them and correct them when you must.  They must seek God on their own. They need salvation as you did.  They need to make their own choices.  You love God the creator, not the creature.  Christ requires a jealous love of all.  He wants to be first and foremost in your life.  If you put Christ first, your wife/husband and family second, and yourself last, then you are in God's order of things.

Your children, your parents, your relatives, etc., are all God's creations, not yours.  You own or have nothing.  God created them through you only.  If you learn to trust God in all things, you then live by faith in Him, not the world or man.  You give all your problems to Jesus.  Now it is His problem, not yours.  If you have given them to the Lord, He knows them better than you.  Each person stands before God to be judged alone.  They do not have anyone alongside - no parent, sister, brother, uncle, aunt, offspring....no one.  Who do you love?  God or flesh?  The Creator or the created?   You see, God can create your seed and the love you have for them over and over again, as many times as He pleases.  God never lets a child of His suffer loss or tears.  Do you have faith in God, or do you have faith in His creation?  Whom do you follow?  Whom do you serve?  God is always in.  Faith is always in motion.  It stands when all else fails in this world.

We are tested in this life.   It is our only purpose on this planet.  Like the angels who were tested once in Heaven, we are tested once in this life.  Our choice is as theirs....flesh or spirit.  We are judged by that choice.  Only Christ is the Savior, not man, not even our seed.  I would not want any of my children, or parents, or loved ones to perish or be lost, but I'll not give up Christ or my place in Heaven for any of them.

My children must make their own choice, as I did.  It is free to them also.  God wants us all saved and to come home.  All those who make the same choice I did are my brothers and sisters in Christ, in Heaven.  I am not the father or son to anyone in Heaven.  I am a son of God.  Which are you going to be?  What choice are you making?  Let no one on earth separate you from the love of God.  Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard the wonders that await us in Heaven  "....... Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."  1 Corinthians 2:9      You come into the world naked.  You own nothing and take nothing with you when you die.  A true Christian's home is not the world.  You are in the world, but not of it.  Wake up!
