"Verily, verily, I say unto thee, we speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness; If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?" John 3:11-12.

He that confesses Christ before men, shall be confesssed before the Father.  "Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven."Matthew 10:32-33.

He that confesses Christ before men shall be confessed before angels.  "Also I say unto you, whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God." Luke 12:8.

Confess with thy mouth and believe in thine heart.  "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed." Romans 10:9-11.

Christ asks a confession from Martha. "I am the resurrection, and the life; he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live; and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?" John 11:25-26.

Those ashamed of Christ - of them Christ shall be ashamed.  "For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's and of the holy angels." Luke 9:26.

He that confesses that Jesus is the Son of God.  "Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God." 1 John 4:15

They who endure to the end. "But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved." Matthew 24:13

That continue are disciples indeed.  "If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed." John 8:31.

The honest and good heart brings forth fruit with patience.  "But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience." Luke 8:15. (Also read Parable of the Sower, Luke 8:5-15).

Abide or be cast forth. "Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned." John 15:4 and 6.

Watch that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all things.  "And take heed to yourselves lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man."Luke 21:34-36.

No value in saying, "Lord, Lord" without obedience.  "And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?" Luke 6:46.

Let your light shine that men may see your good works.  "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."Matthew 5:16. (Also read Parable of Candle, Matthew 5:14-16).

Ye shall know men by their fruits. "Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit." Matthew 7:16-17. (Also read Parable of the Good and Evil Tree, Matthew 7:16-20).

A tree that bears not shall be cut down. "And if it bear fruit, well; and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down."Luke 13:9 (Also read Parable of Barren Fig Tree, Luke 13:6-9).

Ye are ordained to bear fruit. "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you." John 15:1-16.

Some believe for awhile - but later fall away. "They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away. And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection. But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience." Luke 8:13-15.

There is an acceptable time for man's salvation.  "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me....to preach the acceptable year of the Lord." Luke 4:18-19.

When the heart becomes hardened, men cannot be converted.  "Therefore speak I to them in parables; because they seeing see not, and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand....for this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them." Matthew 3:13-15.

The rich fool suddenly cut off from life. "But God said unto him, thou foul, this night thy soul shall be required of thee; then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?" Luke 12:20. (Also read Parable of Rich Food, Luke 12:16-21).

Unbelievers shall seek Christ too late. "I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins; whither I go, ye cannot come." John 8:21.

When the door of salvation is shut, none may enter.  "Strive to enter in at the strait gate; for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are." Luke 13:24-25. (Also read Luke 12:24-28).

Repent and believe the Gospel.  "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel." Mark 1:15.

Except ye repent ye shall perish. "Of those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, Nay: But except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." Luke 13:45.

Sinners called to repentance. "I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." Luke 5:32.

If one will not repent from hearing God's Word - A miracle will not persuade him.  "And he said, Nay, father Abraham: But if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead" Luke 16:30-31.

Repentance must be in deep humility. "I will arise and go to my Father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, And am no more worthy to be called the Son: Make me as one of thy hired servants." Luke 15:18-19. (Also read Parable of Prodigal Son, Luke 15:11-32).

Christ gives us an example of true repentance. "And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted." Luke 18:13-14. (Also read Parable of Pharisee and Publican, Luke 18:9-14).

When ye pray, forgive.  "And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses." Mark 11:25-26.

Forgive and ye shall be forgiven. "Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: Condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: Forgive, and ye shall be forgiven." Luke 6:37.

If thy brother repent - forgive him. "Take heed to yourselves; If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him." Luke 17:3.

Forgive seven times if a Brother repents. "And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him." Luke 17:4.

Forgive unto seventy times seven.  "I say not unto thee, until seven times but, until seventy times seven." Matthew 18:22.

If you do not fortive, you shall not be forgiven. "So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses." Matthew 18:35. (Also read Parable of Unforgiving Servant, Matthew 18:21-35).

In coming to the Altar, first be reconciled to thy Brother.   "Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift." Matthew 5:23-24.
