God's Sword of Truth - The Word
"But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father" vs. 32. "Watch ye therefore for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cock crowing, or in the morning"vs. 35. "Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping" vs. 36.2. In a twinkling of an eye....I Cor. 15:51-52
"Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."3. Christ shall descend from the sky....I Thess. 4:16.
"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first."4. He shall raise those who died in faith....I Thess. 4:14.
"For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him."5. He shall change the bodies of the living believers (Christians) in a moment (twinkling of an eye) on the earth..I Cor. 15:52.
"In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."
The word "Rapture" is NOT found in the Bible, it is from the Greek translation meaning "caught up" or "carried away". Once a saint is translated, they are conformed from a fleshly body to a spiritual body. The EVENT of Rapture is mentioned in the Word of God, so let us further examine the Scriptural basis for Rapture. I Thes. 4:17 - "Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them (those who died in Christ) in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:"
"Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth."2. Chapters 1 through 3 of Revelation mention the "CHURCH" 19 times, but Chapters 4 through 19 do not mention the "Church" (believers) during the Tribulation.
After Chapter 3, the "Church" is no longer heard of, it is in heaven. Only the wrath of God is seen being poured out on those who were left behind in this sinful world. Some will be saved during the tribulation period [seven years], but each one saved will pay for salvation with his/her life.
We should ALWAYS look for the return of Jesus. In fact, we are told in: Revelations 16:15...."Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame." See Acts 20:31, I Cor. 10:12, I Cor. 16:13, Col. 4:2, I Peter 5:8, Luke 12: 37, 38. "Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching; verily, I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants."Also see I Thess. 5:5-6.
The time has been set for "Rapture" and it will NOT be changed. All things must come to pass as it so states in the Word of God. It's definite that Rapture will take place, and it will be according to the Lord's time table, NOT man's time table.
Now, all through history man has been anxious for the return of Christ and His Kingdom. But, just for a moment, take a look at the world, the people, the life styles, and nature. What do you see? Can you see the prince of the earth (Satan) and all his evil spirits and demons in the world right now? If you do not see Satan and his demons at work, then you are being deceived and are one of his. "For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist." - 2 John 7.
We need Christ back, and everything that He brings; peace, love, joy, goodness, cleanness, purity, etc. We are, and have always been, an impatient people. Revelations 6:10-11 "And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled." But the Lord is not slack, He is at the door. Read I Peter, Chapter 3, it is very clear on the subject.
The true Christian is not involved in events or times, only in the truth of Christ's soon coming. I shall always look for His coming, whether it is in my life time or not. My faith is not effected by events, and it does not change because I’m wrong. The men of God have always made mistakes. I’m still excited about His coming, and I shall always be excited about it. Every time I see a sign that Christ gave in His Word about His coming, I get exited over and over again. Why? Because it's a hope that I have in Christ, which means that things will be better when He returns to this earth with His saints (Christians) for one thousand years. (Read Rev. 20:4-6)
There will be a new life, a new world, with Christ as King....Read Revelations 21:1-7. "He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus" The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.".....Revelations 22:20,21.
Please keep in mind, we can do absolutely nothing without the Holy Spirit. Not even the Apostles moved until they were anointed by fire. Jesus, in the flesh, left, to go to heaven on the right hand of the Father, but He sent His Spirit to guide and teach us, and His Spirit is still here with us. He is the Godhead on earth and not a man of any kind. He takes the true "body of Christ" out in Rapture. Remember, the earth is evil and getting worse, and the Holy Spirit will remove the Christians just before the tribulation. And, for the following seven years, the wrath of God will be poured out on all religions of man, which, by that time, will have become the "One World Religion". You read that right - all religions of man - the people in religion will not be raptured, but will be punished for their beliefs and traditions which are all in vain. (Read James 1:26-27 and Col. 1:8)
We can do nothing of ourselves, because the Holy Spirit is the source that seals us unto our salvation - "In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after what ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:" - Ephes. 1:13, 14, 17. You can be saved NO OTHER WAY, but by the Grace of God, a gift unto you, ..."from him which is, and which was, and which is to come;....Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood....to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us." - Rev. 1:4, 5 and 1 Thes. 5:9, 10.
Be alert! Be steadfast! WATCH! The Christian, whose faith is maintained, will escape the sudden destruction that is to come on this world, but the unbeliever will not be able to escape. Read Matt. 24:38-39.
My friends, there isn't much time left, and the Christians are about to leave in rapture.
