Out of Body Experience

By The Holy Spirit's Disciple, Raymond Laginess

In these last days, many are having what is called OBE's (out of body experience's) which is usually explained to them as having been caused by some tragic accident, calamity or event, and they are told that it sometimes happens when a person appears to be in a semi-conscious or unconscious state. Now, that person actually thinks, or believes that, at some point and time during the unconsciousness, their spirit leaves their body and goes out in space or to some unknown place such as being in a tunnel, heaven or hell.

This way of believing or thinking is NOT of the Lord. Whatever time, place or reason this event is thought to have happened must be realized that it is of Satan and is only in their mind, because there is no fact to prove it really happened. The proof that it did NOT happen is in the Word of God. "...whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord....For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad." - II Cor. 5:6-10 You can see that while we are in our bodies, we are absent from the Lord, for if we were dead (having left our bodies), we would have to appear before the judgment seat of Christ which means that anyone who leaves their body is dead. Anything else is a form of hallucination, a delusion or dream ~ a pathological (abnormal) mental state ~ which Satan uses to control these people through their dreams or events which HE HAS CAUSED. It's pure mysticism from Satan. Many clairvoyants call it "visions" or "lucid dreaming", often described as dreaming and being aware that you are dreaming. These happenings are not of the Lord by any means. Once again, read the above Scripture, II Cor. 5:6-10 and read it again and again from the King James Bible.

We are alive in our bodies, but, if the spirit leaves our bodies, WE ARE DEAD. "For as the body without the spirit is dead...." - James 2:26. Our spirit is either in heaven with the Lord or in hell with Satan. There is no scriptural proof or evidence that states the spirit can leave the body, walk around, see events, or experience things of this world, and then return back to the body and live. There is scriptural evidence of just the opposite, speaking about a "spiritual resurrection" from the "dead", which means the "sin" in our lives. "Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God" - Romans 6:13 - meaning, the "old life" (sin nature) is to be reckoned as "dead". There is more scripture pertaining to the same: Luke 15:24, 32 - both verses explaining - "....was dead, and is alive again....was lost and is found".

Yes, the Scripture does warn about Satan, it warns of his power over us and his attempt to control our soul and spirit, whether it be through our dreams or events that happen in our life. These events are not of the Lord or Holy Spirit. See COL. 2:8. Also, when Saul fell from his horse and Jesus appeared to him and told him that He appeared to him for the reason of making him a minister and a witness of the gentiles - "To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me." - Acts 26:18. Jesus appeared to explain to Saul (Paul) that he (Saul) would go to the gentile in order to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light (from death to life) and from the power of Satan unto God.

Once the soul and spirit leaves your body, you are body dead and are either in heaven or hell ~ period! There is evidence of spirits coming back, but not their dead body. For example, Jesus, in spirit and in His new body, did return and walk the earth for 40 days. Keep in mind, His new body walked through walls, ate, and was seen by others. But it was His new spiritual body which had a power that we will all have after our fleshly body is dead. Read Luke 24:36 through 43. A spirit hath not flesh and bones. If someone were to tell you that they died and went to heaven and spoke to relatives and saw Jesus - they are liars - for: "....flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God;" - I Cor.15: 50.

You cannot mix the two. You cannot leave a fleshly body ~ becoming spirit, being aware of things or events in this life, and then return to your body and continue life in the flesh with sights of the future. There is no purpose for it, other than allowing Satan to control your thoughts and soul, and Satan can do that because he is the deceiver and worker of darkness and iniquity. People who believe that they have seen UFO’s or have had an experience, such as, contact with, and/or trips in space ships, are actually seeing forms of Satan ~ in hallucinations or dreams through which he operates.

Anything in, or of the future, has already been given to us through the Book of Revelations. We all have the past, present and future in the Lord’s Word, the Bible. You need nothing else, therefore...."Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:" - 1 Peter 5:8. All else is of Satan and is used to confuse and deceive the minds of them who believe not.

Wake up people, your dreams are NOT reality, but are of the flesh which has no basis of fact or truth!

"In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them." - 2 Cor.4:4
