God's Sword of Truth - The Word

Jesus Christ

Mediator of ONE

By The Holy Spirit's Disciple, Raymond Laginess

Jesus Christ - Mediator of One As prophesied in the New Testament:

MATT. 18:20 - "For where two or three are gathered together, in my name, there am I in the midst of them."

LUKE 22:31 - "And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat, (32) but I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not."

LUKE 23:33 - "And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified Him, (34) Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do."

JOHN 14:6 - "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (13) And whatsoever ye ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. (14)If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. (16)And I pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever."

JOHN 16:23 - "Verily, verily, I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. (24) Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name, ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. (26) At that day ye shall ask in my name, and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you."

JOHN 17:9 - "I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. (11) Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. (20) Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word."

JOHN 20:31 - "But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through His name."

ROMANS 1:8 - "I thank my God, through Jesus Christ, for you all." (also read EPH. 4:32)

ROMANS 5:1 - "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ; (2) by whom also we have access by faith into this Grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God."

ROMANS 6:23 - "The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

ROMANS 8:34 - "Who is he that condemneth?, it is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us."

ROMANS 16:27 - "To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever, Amen."

1 COR. 6:11 - "But ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God."

1 COR. 15:57 - "But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."

HEBREW 6:19 - "Within the veil; (20) Wither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec." (also read HEBREW 7:21)

HEBREW 7:1 - "Melchisedec, King of Salem, priest of the most high God, (3)Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life, but made like unto the Son of God, abideth a priest continually. (19) For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing of a better hope did; but the which we draw nigh unto God. (24) But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. (25) Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. (26) For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; (27) who needeth not daily as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's, for this he did once, when he offered up himself.(28) For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore."

HEBREW 8:1 - "Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; (2) A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man. (6) He obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises."

HEBREW 9:11 - "Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; (12) neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. (15) for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance."

HEBREW 9:24 - "Christ is now entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, not to appear in the presence of God for us." (also read vs. 11-28.)

HEBREW 10:11 - "Every priest standeth daily ministering and offering often times the same sacrifices, which can never take away sin; (12) but this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins, for ever, sat down on the right hand of God. (19) Having there fore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus. (20)By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; (21) and having an high priest over the house of God."

HEBREW 12:24 - "Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel."

HEBREW 13:15 - "By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to his name."

1 PETER 2:5 - "Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ."

1 JOHN 2:1 - "And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; (2) And he is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. (12)I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake."

2 COR. 1:20 - "For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us."

GAL. 4:7 - "Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Jesus Christ."

EPH. 3:12 - "In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him."
