NEW TESTAMENT SCRIPTURE
MATT. 5:3...."Blessed are the poor in spirit; for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. LUKE 6:20

MATT. 11:29...."Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart and ye shall find rest unto your souls."

MATT. 18:2-4...."Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, and said, verily I say unto you, except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

MARK 9:33-37, LUKE 9:46-48.

MATT. 23:12...."And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted."

ROMANS 11:18...."Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. (20) Be not high-minded, but fear; (25)For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in."

PHIL. 2:3-11...."Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is lord, to the glory of God the Father."

(9) Blessedare the peacemakers; for they shall be called the children of God.(38) Ye have heard that it hath been said, an eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth, (39) But I say unto you, that ye resist not evil, but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. (40) And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also. (LUKE 6:29). (41) And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. JUDE 9:...."Yet Michael, the Archangel, when contending with the devil, he disputed about the body of Moses, did not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, the Lord rebuke thee." We can see by this that we are no match for Satan, a fallen angel. While in our human flesh, on earth, only by the Holy Spirit can we over-come him, and only if you have Him in your heart. For even hereunto were ye called; because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps. Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth.
