God's Sword of Truth - The Word
The divine ownership of this world belongs to God -
“The earth is the Lord’s and the fulness thereof; the
world, and they that dwell therein. For he hath
founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the
floods.” - A Psalm of David: 24:1
The first man, Adam, was created by God, in His image and likeness. Yet, while Adam was made in the image of God, Christ is “...the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:” (Col. 1:15). Because the first (natural) man, Adam (of the earth), sinned in the flesh and gave away his inheritance to Satan, God would also come in the flesh as the last (spiritual) Adam (Jesus Christ) to take back what Adam gave away to Satan (I Cor. 15:45). The last Adam, Jesus Christ, was the One through whom God created all things - “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” (I John 1-3; also read Heb. 1:2; I Cor. 8:6; Col. 1:15-20). In God’s love for His creation, He would send His Son to this earth, not to live but to die as a human sacrifice to atone for our sins and take back the inheritance which was originally given Adam and Eve in the beginning. IN THE BEGINNING GOD CREATED......
HE CAME IN THE FLESH AND DWELT AMONG US
“Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.” - Matthew 1:23 He is known as Emmanuel (God with us) (Matt. 1:23). He was named JESUS (Matt. 1:21) Who came into this world to save us from our sins. He was known by His WORD from the very beginning for He made all things (John 1:1-3). He is the light of all the world (John 8:12). He is the light of those who doeth truth (John 3:21). He is a light unto a dark place (2 Peter 19). He was made flesh (took on a human body) and dwelt among us (John 1:14). He is with us always, even unto the end of the world (Matthew 28:20).
Come the day of judgment, Jesus Christ will be the only foundation Who will remain standing before the living God. Jesus Christ, our foundation, from Whom we build our lives on through the Holy Spirit, will be exalted on the right hand of the throne - “Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not of man.” - Hebrews 8:1-2. THE FOUNDATION OF JESUS CHRIST
Remember what Paul wrote to the Corinthian church in 1 Cor. 3:10 and 11 - “According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” There are always those who try to lay other foundations, the kind that are not on solid ground and eventually collapse, like the false teachers who have built their crystal towers, domes, and false organizations on quick sand. There are church buildings, temples, sanctuaries, cities, even certain places made by man that people believe are holy - THEY ARE NOT HOLY! This entire earth is His creation, not something that man has made or can make with his own hands. IT ALL BELONGS TO THE MASTERBUILDER - AND IF IT'S NOT BUILT ON HIM IT WILL FALL.
There are no church services, tithing, baptizing, sermon preaching, confessionals, sacraments, religious traditions of men that could possible give anyone the true foundation for building their Christian lives on - read it again in above paragraph - “...For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ” (vs.11) - for it is ONLY Jesus Christ, the WORD, who can give us the foundation to build on. John tells us in 1st John 2:26-27, when he wrote: “These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.”
Sometimes Christians miss the footings in the foundation when they begin to rely on their own self righteousness, feeling that they have to be a church goer or works doer person for “points” with the Lord. No! No! No! No fellowship in any church building of man can save you. No person can get to heaven on his good works alone. Also, it is pure idolatry to make or worship false idols and relics out of material things that will burn in the last days, such as: affluence, increase of wealth with large bank accounts, stocks and bonds, elaborate houses, big luxury cars, air planes, even to idolizing other people (movie stars, sport stars, rock stars, etc.), these things are man’s enslavement to the delights of this world - it is all vanity - “...ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:” - Acts 14:15. Love and turn to Jesus, not people, things, or “stuff” (material things). Material things will only provide you “fear”, fear of losing them. It is Jesus Christ alone as the foundation, NOTHING ELSE! Let your light shine and allow the Holy Spirit to guide you, and He will, trust Him.
We need no works or service to worship the Creator - we must live Jesus every day! We are the sacrifice by our faith and our daily life - we are the altar, the victim, a sweet odor of incense when we live Jesus in our heart. We are His family and the true Holy City is our Heart where Jesus lives by the Spirit. If we focus on the living Word of God, then He becomes the center of our lives, and we will walk according to His truth.
Christianity is free and easy - it takes love and faith ONLY. Remember, Jesus Christ did it all for us and He said that He will return soon for those who are watching for His return and serve them - “Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.” - Luke 12:37. Salvation doesn’t come to us in many different ways: through religions of men, nor buying it or working for it. Our righteousness comes by our faith in Jesus Christ. So, get out of religion for it will lead you to hell - and have no part of mans governments, flags or their politics, not even to fight in their wars, “thou shalt not kill” but rather forgive and seek not revenge.
Remember, our citizenship is in heaven and we are not here to kill any other human being for things on this earth. We must pay evil with LOVE, it covers all wrong. The Lord will pay back ALL for their sins, for the penalty of sin is death - “For the wages of sin is death...” (Romans 6:23). Their prison is “forever”.
Sin committed is disobedience contrary to the Lord’s will, an act of rebellion against the Creator, giving Satan full reign to deceive whomever he will. All sin is evil and causes death to our spiritual purpose. Adam and Eve disobeyed God and ultimately died because of their sin. Even though Adam did not die physically for many years to come after his sin, he did die spiritually and his eventual death was triggered by his sin of rebellion in the Garden. There is no doubt that sin is the corruption of our flesh and everything else that is not pleasing to God. The greatest problem for all of mankind is the result of sin which causes separation from God. Adam was warned by God Who told him that if he were to disobey God and eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil that he would surely die (read the Genesis account of the Creation of man, Chapters 2 and 3). SIN AND ITS EFFECT
Satan gave us a SIN NATURE in receipt of the inheritance that Adam and Eve gave him. When sin came into being it caused death, therefore an act had to be performed in order to take the place of death, and under the Old Testament Law the sinner placed his or her hands on an animal which was then killed and offered up for their sin by the high priest. The blood sacrifice of animals was a means of covering sin until the time that Jesus Christ, the sacrificial Lamb, would become our sin offering by dying for ALL our sins and making us whole again. He has paid the price for us in order that we might have a place where we will rule with Him in the New Jerusalem. WHO IS THE FATHER OF ALL SIN AND DEATH? SATAN!
We need to be aware of his many distractions, for Satan is the most malicious, vicious enemy of man, always accusing us “before our God day and night” (Revelation 12:10). No truth can be found in him - “...He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” - John 8:44. He is the cause of ALL hatred, abuse of children, broken homes, divorce, homosexuality, dishonesty, lies, drug abuse, adultery, fornication, witchcraft, perversion of all kinds, ruthless bloodshed, murder and wars. People, be aware of his many tactics, sometimes subtle, but nonetheless, he has come to “steal, and to kill, and to destroy” - John 10:10.
Satan and his demons are always there to tempt us. It’s up to each of us to resist and NOT yield to our fleshly wants and desires because yielding to sin breaks down our spiritual strength. Our old life is to be reckoned as dead - “Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God...” Romans 6:11-13. PUT ON THE WHOLE ARMOR - Read Ephesians 6:10-18.
“But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved)” - Ephes. 2:4-5 Keep in mind, Jesus, Emmanuel (God with us), walked this earth with us. But, that in order for God to walk this earth as a man, with man, He had to first descend from heaven. God’s willingness was in paying for sin Himself through the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ, so “that we might be made the righteous of God in Him” (2 Cor. 5:21). God so loved us, even when we were dead in our sins, that He came down to this world (setting His deity aside) to be a man as Adam was and to take our place on the tree for all our sins. He gives to each one of us the gift of salvation. And, if we by our free will choice accept His gift and offer of salvation, we will repent of our sin, believe on Him by faith, live His will daily, and trust Him in ALL things - we will truly be born again in Him. SALVATION BY GRACE
No man in religion, or even government, can perform this act for us. There are no fellowships that we have to be a member of, or works or acts that we must perform to obtain what Jesus has already done for us - “But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.” (Titus 3:4-7). His way is free, no charge, just use our free will to accept Him and be saved. Such an act of faith is choosing sides and is a defeat for Satan, for when we put our trust in Christ we transfer our allegiance from Satan to the Lord.
THE LAST INVITATION,
COME!
You have been invited and I wish to share with you the greatest invitation that anyone has ever been given. The One that has invited you and I is the Master Designer of the Universe, the King of Kings, the Foundation of all things made, the Son of God Jesus Christ Who became the Lamb of God Who died for all. Are you ready to Come, to come and take His water of life freely? “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.” Revelation 22:17
If you trust Him, you shall not thirst again. His Holy Spirit is still here to teach, guide and keep us on the narrow road to salvation. Open and follow your heart, repent of your sin, live by His WORD and you will be born again, living forever with the Creator. You can not be disappointed when you trust Him, and by His Holy Spirit He will lead you forward into all truth in the knowledge of His Word. Resist Satan and he will flee from you. Remember, he is the loser and he cannot win, for the Lake of Fire will be his home forever.
Do not be led astray. The only leader we need in our lives is Jesus Christ Who guides us all by His Holy Spirit. The head of man is Jesus Christ and Him alone, for He is the only true Foundation of our faith which no man can lay!
