FELLOW-SHIP
(Sharing Together)

BASED UPON COMMON:

Purpose....PSALM 133:1-3...."Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard; that went down to the skirts of his garments; as the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion; for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore."

Belief....ACTS 2:42...."And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers."

Conviction....I PETER 3:8...."Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous."

Work.... PHIL 2:13...."For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure."

Hope....HEBREWS 11:39,40...."And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise; God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect."

Faith.... GAL. 5:6....For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. I TIMOTHY 1:5...."Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned."

Suffering....IICOR.1:3-4...."Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God."

Need....II COR. 8:1-15 (Please read)

LUKE 24:32...."When thou are converted, strengthen thy brethren."

LUKE 24:32...."They said one to another, did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures? (v. 17).

JOHN 17:20...."Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; (21) That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that thou hast sent me."

ROMANS 12:15...."Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep."

I COR. 10:16...."The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? (17) For we being many are one bread, and one body; for we are all partakers of that one bread."

I COR. 12:12...."For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ. (13) For by one spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit."

II COR. 6:14-18...."Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers? For what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God, as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty."

EPHESIANS 4:1...."I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called. (2) With all lowliness and meekness, with long-suffering, forbearing one another in love; (3) Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."

EPHESIANS 5:11...."And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them."

I THESS. 4:18...."Comfort one another with these words."

HEBREWS 3:13...."Exhort one another daily, while it is called Today; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin."

HEBREWS 10:24,25...."Let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works; not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another."

I JOHN 4:7...."Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. (8) He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. (11) Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. (12) No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. (13) Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit."
